Because i had no desk of my own at which to sit, being a trainee (another point where the company ends up looking incompetent) and the desk that became her desk (due to recarpeting in the office) was the desk i had been "squatting" at before she came around.

As i said, eating the food did erode my moral-high-ground position certainly, but ultimately that's not at all the central issue here, e.g. if that lady hadn't hated me, nothing ever would have been said if the food were the sole point of contention here.

Also we weren't allowed to take photographs in there. National security violation (casual web-browsing was also deemed as much). Part of the reason why i'm better off gone from there.
