Ah I always wanted to try rugby out. Looks like a very grueling sport. I wouldn't mind bulldozing over people. However, there are some huge guys in the sport which would probably flatten me out. I don't think there are any rec rugby leagues in USA (or at least Austin, Texas) probably due to the concern of injury (or lack of interest). It would be cool to form a league though. I don't have the greatest knowledge on all the rules in rugby. I find it funny when they all line up in the circle and start pushing each other. I'm pretty clueless when it comes to rugby and wondered why the start is like that. |
Yeah, Union can be rather confusing, especially for a newcomer just viewing it for the first time. League is generally the more structured of the two and is very easy to pick up the rules just by watching a match or two, while its nuances require a more indepth look.
