I think a huge part of the problem with the games industry right now, is this pretense of "games as art", and trying to make them as cinematic as possible, trying to make them compete with the movie industry on that "blockbuster" level. It's a move away from focus on fundamentals, games that are FUN to play above all else.

And no, I'm sorry. I think the very notion of the question is kind of silly as hell, honestly.
