| pokoko said: This has to be frustrating for Xbox fans, or for anyone that was interested in the XO after the reveal. These answers and clarifications should have been ready days ago, especially given that many of the "inaccurate and incomplete" reports came from Microsoft sources. Even beyond that, they should never have spoken about things they couldn't clarify or that they only had incomplete answers for. They really need to get their act together for E3 and get everyone on the same page. I bet there were some really uncomfortable meetings in Microsoft-land. Perhaps this whole fiasco will have them double-ready for the next presentation. This entire situation has had a very "too many chefs in the kitchen" feel. |
No it is not frustrating for us :)
All this negativity around the Xbox One (god... I HATE this name) does not seem to come from the Xbox fan base.
I got plenty of good answers from Microsoft at the reveal; and I'm now waiting for the E3 for all the awesomeness they are going to show us!
As far as the DRM; well it seem to be pretty simple to me. It will be the same thing than Arcade or on-demande games (digital); I do not see why it would be more complicated than that. And it does not bother me at all; for me being able to install the game without the need to use the disk anymore is really welcome and having to connect once every 24h is nothing at all.
Edit: Now, I'm very happy they are going to clarify it for those who needs very specific answers... but I do not expect the negativity to go away after that as the majority of the Xbox community is already fine with it.
