After the highly praised but overrated² Bioshock Infinite I don't really trust gamejournalists anymore. If a game is hyped, the game should score high or they get fired or a lot of complaints (I remember a Gamespot guy getting fired because of something similar). Current gamejournalists seem to prefer good storytelling over real gameplay. No doubt Last of Us will be a good game, but come on game of the year? The gameplay isn't revolutionary/new at all. It's the exceptional good story-telling that makes people crazy.
