| MonstaMack said: Dunno. Last E3 when they were showing lists, outside of surprises at MS/Sony/Nintendo press conferences there wasn't much in the way of surprises. I'd imagine a lot for XBox One and PS4, but I don't see many other surprises. Just going by the trend of last few E3's.
I know when Gamespot had their entire list of E3 games listed a few days before E3, maybe a half a dozen or so were surprise announcements during E3. |
Last E3 was a different situation. The Wii U had been announced a year earlier, so all of the early announcements had already been made. The PSV and 3DS were already out and games for them were mostly announced already. So there wasn't much reason for secrecy on any front.
This E3, the XBO and PS4 are both newly announced, with plenty of titles rumoured to be heading to the systems but not yet announced. Nintendo have clearly been keeping a lot of secrets regarding Wii U titles (consider that they chose to reveal games like X and SMTxFE, as well as their deal with Sega regarding Sonic, ahead of time) - also supported by the lack of specific titles being announced by even publishers that have been vocally supporting the Wii U. The 3DS is now flourishing but very few upcoming third party titles have actually been announced, relatively speaking, suggesting that Nintendo have been keeping those under wraps, too.
This is going to be a big E3 for announcements from all of the "big 3".
