Seems to me another author decided to put his own spin on the comments made by Craig Davidson. Let's kill Sony is more like a rally cry; if he stated We will kill Sony, that would be arrogance. Could be the translation as well, but it doesn't matter. People will run with it in whatever direction they wish.
