-If they will quit, it will be an issue more for the XBone than for PS4 anyway, wouldn't it?
No, because dvb-t is not dvb-c is not dvb-s. Basing your following sentences on this false assumption everything is potentially wrong. And no, dvb-t is a standard but mostly we use dvb-c or dvb-s.
- After the miserable debacle following the Xbone reveal now they resort trying to show the muscles that they don't have.
How do you know already? You don't. It is more like you don't want them to have not which has to be proven. And I don't know how this statement is in any way arrogant. Perhaps unpolite, inappropriate but in no way arrogant.

Also if for you to threat to kill someone or anything isn't arrogant (especially once it has been proved to be pretty powerful) I think that you should check the meaning of it. Here, i'll do it for you (from Merriam-Webster)
1
: exaggerating or disposed to exaggerate one's own worth or importance often by an overbearing manner arrogantofficial>
2
: showing an offensive attitude of superiority : proceeding from or characterized by arrogance arrogant reply>
— ar·ro·gant·ly adverb
That's the definition of MS, isn't it?

If you have the feeling that this is the definition of arrogant, I won't argue that. I say it is not arrogant as I think it is marketing-bs where every company is in a way arrogant - $ony, Nintendo, MS. I think it is especially unpolite but who cares anyway? Really, are you arguing that if I threaten you to kill you is "arrogant"? Really?

Are you kidding me? if you threat to kill anyone on this forum you can get banned (not by me, I'd laugh). I've got a day suspension because I was trolling the PC trolls. Go imagine.
Anyway, that is the definition of "arrogant". Not by me, by a very qualified dictionary. there are many ways to do marketing. MS current way is an arrogant one. Sony never mentoned MS if you didn't notice it. They don't need to. To ignore the enemy is the worst offense.
