A) Wii U will have "juicy graphics" as well, guaranteed.
B) The problem lies in the fact that there are ENOUGH graphics whore gamers out there, that they have very obviously shaped the rising tide of graphics > innovation/gameplay/quality/actual content that can be seen industry-wide. Meaning more gamers have to actually care about innovation and gameplay, etc., and prove that with their checkbooks. Shiny graphics > everything games tend to sell. That is why more are made, and less focus is put on other kinds of games. For this to change, games which put the focus elsewhere need to sell better.
