Sony should quit the electronics business?

I bought a PS3, it didn't magically endear me to buy any other products of theirs as there are always better options at every price point.  That includes TV, phones and laptops.  The internet has ended the rule of the big brands, people can now get the information they need before they buy and don't fall back to the old method of buying a "quality" brand name.  Sony have just never realized this isn't the case when you look at their products.
