They did, new SNES/MD games were £50, N64 games £50-60.  PS1 games....£40, later £30.

PS360 = 50  and  3DS = 30  hmmmm    3DS games are cheaper than Wii games and I am pretty sure its not exactly cheaper to produce 3DS games then it was to produce Wii games.
