DRM would seriously hurt the XBzero but it will absolutely kill the PS brand bc the Playstation is much more of a worldwide kind of brand, and travels to places where internet frequently isnt commonly available. That's why MSFT has made online such a hyuuuuuggggeeee part of its product mix, unlike sony.
So, bc DRM requires online, dont assume that Sony would have it in the coming generation, unless they aren't being rational at all.
