I totally agree that the gaming industry as a whole has lost it ways.
In many ways gaming has hit puberty: it's all about sex, violence, blood and gore in the games and on the business side they're trying to squeeze as much money from the consumer as possible since the budgegs are so bloated.
Games are trying to be Hollywood movies, when they're not.
Game developers think they're Hollywood directors, when they're not.
