I know someone who owns a Mom & Pop game store and they said without used games or ancilliary products they would go out of business within a year. So why on Earth would they support a system/policy that essentially would effectively end their business? If their is a choice between systems that do this and don't you better believe they will heavily market the ones that don't and push it like they never have a product before.
Interesting and chaotic times for the industry to say the least.
