Between Hulu and most networks offering their content online for free and dozens of sites that stream or torrent everything else, cable/satellite providers can suck it. I should also mention that I live in a city with an awesome library system that provides almost anything that ever releases on DVD for free. |
I do not have internet or television so no Netflix or Hulu either. I do rent tons of DVDs form my library and that is how I have watched Breaking Bad or Boardwalk Empire for example. I have never had television since graduating university so five years without it. My television is essentially a video game and DVD/Blu-Ray monitor.
The only exception is I went half and half with a friend to have HBO at their place because I want to do everything to support Game of Thrones, which I then also buy on Blu-Ray day one. I have since before that show existed had a strong desire to support it.
