Unfortunately, he's kinda right. Gamers love to complain, but they won't about a thing care if they want to play a game. It's just like when game prices increased to $60, everyone was upset, but when the consoles released with the games they wanted, nobody cared anymore. Same with online passes, abusive DLC practices and many other awful decisions this industry has been throwing at us.

Of course, there are exceptions. Like when Ubisoft decided to release those DRM'ed PC games and, thanks to the PC community fighting against it, these games sold so little that Ubi needed to rethink their approach on PC gaming. And... Well, that's the only exception I can think off.

While I would like to believe console gamers would stand up against this shit MS and 3rds are doing, history shows quite the opposite. I just hope that this time gamers are more conscious of the impacts those kinds of policies will have on gaming and actually stop buying everything the industry throws at them. The best way to fight against those kinds of anti-constumer policies are with your wallets, if they don't get any money, they will be obliged to change their way of managing consoles. I already made my decision that I won't buy any console with those kinds of used games restrictions or always-online requirements and I want to believe that i'm not the only one here who thinks the same.
