Digital DRM really isn't designed to screw the consumer but I do see how some people may see it that way. Its unforunately necessary and it is up to Microsoft, Sony and anyone else going all digital to implement DRM that will please all parties involved. Let's see what they come up with before we start completely writing them off...
I personally don't have "vested interests" but just like the convinience and most things that come with buying digital. I have 60 Gb of music on Google music in the cloud. I stream Xbox Music as well. I rent from iTunes and Xbox Live. Havent bought a DVD,Bluray in ages. Looking forward to the day I can stop buying physical games too and can carry my entire library wherever I am.
