I wouldnt buy the game on a home console. I dont think 2D platformers fit home consoles unless they use a twist like the Wii U. Now on a portable, they fit like a glove. And the Vita will have the touch controls on top of that to be more faithful to the original Wii U version. Its probably gonna be the best version alongside the Wii U one and very much worth having on a portable.

With that said, yes it wont turn many heads. I dont think thats what made us happy about the announcement. It doesnt replace possible big exclusive titles that the Vita needs to sell.
