It doesn't have to mean anything to Nintendo at all, and could just be that Sony is giving money to Ubisoft.  
It would be different if the Wii U version was canned.

Yeah, that's true.

I just can't get over that they're making Wii U owners wait for what will be a lesser version of the game. I know it's petty but it's enough to put me off the game.
