Investing in 5 new AAA IPs in one year is. Sony wins.

Care to elaborate? Don't know anything about new IP besides Knack.

I want to know that myself, at least it's better than what I said about the Microsoft/NFL deal... ;)

PS All stars, The Last of Us, Pupeteer, Beyond 2 souls, Dust 514- but they still bring out the big guns like God of War and GT6.

Not to mention all the smaller title like: Guacamelee, Rain and Counterspy, Doki DOki Universe etc

Its generally been in their mantra: ps3's launch year had Resistance, Heavenly Sword, Motorstorm, Uncharted, Folklore and Lair. All new IPs

The execution isn't always on point, I very much appreciate the effort.

Forgive me, I thought we were talking about the PS4, but I have to admit, Sony did better with the PS3 launch with 6 games, unlike Nintendo's own IP's which is just two... :'(

PS4 should have a similar number as well. We haven't reached E3, yet we already have 2 new IPS set for launch day; Knack and Drive Club.

I know Drive Club isn't that exciting but still... I expect at E3 we'll see another 3-4 IPs due for ps4's 1st 12month. Not long to wait now.
