Well Sony is already locking content of PS3 games for used games. If you buy PSABR, LBP Vita, Resistance 3 or a lot of other different Sony first party titles used, you have to pay an additional fee of $10 to Sony for unlocking the multiplayer. |
Right, they have online passes. That's pretty much a guarantee from now on in my opinion. If you want to play online you're going to have to buy new or pay for it as they have to keep servers running for people to actually play. I'm speaking of offline single player games. How would you go about locking those if being online is not required.
