for those concerned about needing another box i dont think its needed. Just any cable box with hdmi out will work. The xbox one also has an ir output (these come on tv tuner cards for pc's too) and its used to control your sat box through your pc. the ir output emits the same ir signal as a remote control. so all the xbox does is remap the buttons to make it work (like current pc tuner cards do).
