Physical game boxes are no license. I'm not talking about downloads but the physical copies of games. Otherwise my notebook would be license too because it runs software and is useless without it.
Being common and old doesn't make things wrong - go say that to your grandma. I don't use windows btw I'm using a UNIX based OS
