Games = software = lincense model. You can thank Microsoft for pushing the software industry as it did. It's not new and not hurting any rights of consumers. Otherwise it would have been stopped decades ago. But back then and to this day, MS was the pride of America of course. It was cool because it was oh so big and successful. Nobody cared what they actually did to the industry. Yeah good things, but also lots of bad things. Now people wake up and talk about "freedom" and stuff, when in fact, the world is no longer about freedom.
The car comparison is common and old by now. People should also think about if it's actually good to use Windows then. The majority complains about that OS as well but nobody has the balls to switch to UNIX based OSs.
