Rumor: Sony had a DRM system for the PS4, but it's now on hold

Do they renege on the DRM and piss off 3rd parties and possibly end up with WiiU level of 3rd party support. They might get worse backlash from 3rd parties than Nintendo for this.

Or do they stay the course and hope that consumers come around to the new DRM, and not piss off 3rd parties to keep getting support.

I think from a business stand point they should just stay the course and see if people cool down on the DRM issue, which I think will smooth over easier if both Sony and MS are implementing the same thing. I don't think Sony is willing to shit all over 3rd parties to quell some internet fanatics.

Either way Sony has some tough choices ahead if all this is true.

3rd parties actually sell on PlayStation. They wont pull support from THE CREATOR of this market
