Well that's the best style when it comes to games featuring real cars. Capcom is the only company that tried a completly different style in a car game with real cars in Auto Modellista it got mediocre sales and reviews so I doubt anyone will ever try anything radically different anytime soon.

I just perfer the graphics in Arcade racers, they are good but not ultra realistic. Games like Colin McRae and Sega Rally just seem better because of it. But i guess i just hate tarmac. But even games like need for speed hot pursuit, burnout, midnight club, blur and split/ second appeal better to me than any racing sim
