How do people know Drive Club is an arcade racer?  My assumption is that it'd be a simulation racer. 

Here's an interview and from certain questions and answers, Drive Club is a simulation racer, not arcade style like some people here are trying to downplay it as.

Evolution Studios never created a driving sim. Turn10 proved itself to be the best racing game developer in the world for the past decade.
I can't believe you actually said that the guys behind Motorstorm do cater to the racing enthusiasts and the guys behind Forza to the average gamer.

Why don't you bring up Mario Kart as well?

Most racing enthusiasts are also car enthusiasts, and like I've already stated, Drive Club plays entirely from the first person perspective, something that most people really into racing games are actually interested in.  As I mentioned in my post, I didn't know if it was simulation, but a report from Edge Online made it seem so, and someone mentioned afterwards that wasn't correct. 

You can't really say as a fact that one developer isn't going to do a complete 180 and create an entirely different game than what they've previously created.  To prove that.  Polyphony Digital developed Motor Toon Grand Prix 1 and 2, arcade racers, then went and developed Gran Turismo, then Omega Boost, one of the best on rail shooters ever made, then back to Gran Turismo again.  So there really wasn't a need to be a complete douche in your reply.

That being said.  Turn10 isn't the best.  Polyphony Digital is better and depending on your game preference, Sony Liverpool was better than them.
