personally (as somebody who is pretty invested in Sony and quite a bit enthusiastic about the PS3) I'm actually happy Microsoft is investing so much money in games, as the more quality games release the better for us all
I'm usually a 1 console per gen guy, but if 2 companies manage to establish a catalogue of games I really want to play then I'm fine with picking up another one towards the end of the cycle to play those I feel I missed out on.
