I know Max Payne sold well. But that game came out over a decade ago. Expectations change. Insomniac games used to sell 3m+ regularly but recently they've barely managed 1m, and so Insomniac isn't considered a hit-making developer these days.

So you want developers to fail sales-wise only to win this argument against Angelus! Don't deny it!
