You now have access to a huge market and will deter the rampant piracy that goes on in China.

The problem is, is China worth the rest of the world? And I can't imagine that they have good enough online for this.

The more affluent tend to live in the more urban centers.  I'm guessing Internet access in urban centers is fine.

Is the peasant farmer out in the far edges of the country going to purchase one?  Probably no.  There's likely no infrastructure to support it (Power or Internet), so it wouldn't make much sense.
