Xbox not all in one, live tv US only at launch

honestly, if people have to drop an extra $50 for a peripheral or if only specific MS approved tv providers are supported i can't see this being big.

Inside the US/Canada/Mexico, I don't think this is too big of a deal as NA is pretty Standardized.  However, in the UK you have SCART, who knows what you have elsewhere in the EU.  So, in the UK for example, Microsoft is likely willing to include the SCART adaptor for the TV, as it legally has to.  But your satellite receiver for Sky, etc will need to have an HDMI output.

nice article.  so daisy chaining then.  no idea what SCART is but okay..    so the only live tv i do is old school rabbit ears.  are their anntenna to HDMI converters cause right now i'm using the coaxial cable input on my TV. 

SCART is a TV/Video connection used in Europe.  Similar to DVI but analog.
