this is such a stupid idea my Soul hurts...of course it's a consumer problem...if the profit margin for the retailer goes down, they are going to want to make that up. How? Lower trade in values/higher used game prices. One or the other. Or both. Sharing games? Gone, unless you want to let them sign in under your account. Trading games? Gone. Add those to not being able to play without an internet connection (i.e. troops), and a focus on the declining market of live tv...Which also may or may not even be usable outside of the U.S...A lot of bad moves by MS on this one.
