Next generation..Hmm.Think it like upgrade from ps1 to ps2.You felt you had way superior console compared to last generation console.It was easy back then to notice it, mainly because of graphics upgrade.
Now what I have seen, graphics are little better on xboxOne/ps4 compared to Ps3/Xbox 360, but we dont focus on that anymore because we don't really care that much anymore..
But Wii U graphics are worse than ps3/xbox360.Thats why it doesn't feel next gen if you just look at specs,graphs etc...I myself haven't played Wii U so cant say does it feel that much superior to ps3/xbox360/Wii, but I doubt it has anything that doesn't already exist.
But we cant say that XboxOne/Ps4 are next gen based on my "theory" because we haven't even played them yet..But we know they are 2 most powerful home consoles on the market on release.
