Interested but the sub fee will keep me away. Swtor, Tera, and Lotro all dropped their sub fees and went f2p. Their playerbases all rose and they are actually earning decent profits now.
Guild Wars 2 was B2P (buy the game, but no subscription fee) and it's doing pretty well right too. Everything you can buy is mostly cosmetics or extra bank space and stuff like that. You can even use gold (in game currency) and transfer it to gems (cash currency) so you can have full access to the cash shop without spending a dime. It's a really great system.
I feel Square is doing more harm than good to themselves by having a sub fee.
