Even multiplats? Will PS4 games be using P2P then?
Seems unlikely. Sony just like Microsoft would demand a parity of features.

Many titles, especially EA titles, have little features and abilities only on 360. For example in Madden you can tell not only that your friend is playing Madden, but what the quarter and score are. On PSN you just get "Madden NFL 13". Idk how Sony would enforce something like this unless they wanna build their own stable of 300k+ servers for cloud utilization.

Also, just curious, do you believe the supposed power gap in the two consoles would result in much better 3rd party games on PS4? Because the logic in this post would imply you believe the extra PS4 power will be mostly squandered.

This features is implemented by the developer... GoW games tell what chapter are you playing... Killzone 3 tell what multiplayer mode are you playing... etc.... the EA not implemented that in PS3... Sony give you the tools to change the user state ingame.

That's exactly what I am saying. EA chooses to put that in the 360 versions but not PS3. Maybe it is easier on 360 thanks to Live or something, who knows. But it's a cool little feature that isn't on PS3. If there was a demand for feature parity, it would be on PS3 as well.

There's no guarantee that if MS makes these servers available for 3rd parties to use to make online MP run on them, publishers would have to follow suit on PS3. MS provides these on one console, probably for a fee. The quality and cost would be much different on another platform.
