I'm about half a PC gamer and half a console gamer. In my opinion, the one huge advantage consoles have is the simplicity of getting your game to work so you can start playing as soon as possible. With a PC, if you play enough, you will eventually run into a problem that makes you want to rip your cat's hair out. I still haven't gotten Deus Ex HR to play without lag, my copy of Fallout New Vegas screwed up after I upgraded my video card, and I spent forever trying to get Portal to run on my new PC. In short, it can be a real hassle at times.
I do want to point out that the "price" thing people hold against PC gaming is totally overstated, though. If you don't care that much about graphics and are content with console-level (or slightly higher) in that department, then PC gaming is probably cheaper in the long run.
