Is Record of Agarest War really that bad? I have looked at it quite a few times but am unsure if I should bite or not.

I liked it. It's been a slow burn for me since it's such a super long strategy RPG. I did manage to convice Zucas to start playing it and he ended up beating it and Agarest Zero in a month. So, there are people out there who enjoy their games.

That said, heard some very good things about the 2nd and 3rd Hyperdimension Neptunia titles. I know Tor has said that they're big improvements over the first.

I'd like to play Record of Agarest War because it seemed interesting to me. Shamefully, the 360 version never made it into Europe.
