I can see I wasn't able to make my point. Let's try it again: If this is what you call "a true next gen console" then leave things as they are. I am still happy with the current gen. Wii U looks pretty interesting but my backlog of games to play of the Wii-360-ps3 is pretty long as it is so still can wait. Later on with Mario, Zelda and Metroid games it will be just impossible to resist. Nintendo always delivers with games development. And again, the use of the controller brings something new to the table.

TV! Sports! I don't care for that. And if did I already have a Smart TV that can do everything the X1 is suppose to.

About the little OUYA. That is my level hype compared to Microsoft and Sony machines. It is WAAAY cheaper and it is totally open to be fully hacked to do what gamers care about: play games. Opposite to it, the X1 looks like a control freak machine, always online, always listening, it is George Orwell's Big brother right there inside your living room. You have no other choice!

So again, I'll be better off waiting some months and buying a FULLY TRULY NEXT GEN gaming PC. But of course I don't believe the idea of MORE POWERFUL MACHINE= NEXT GEN.

I feel like I am going to spend this year and the next observing what the X1 and the PS4 do, and asking myself: Do I need that? If it is just graphics improvements then I am not impressed.

Go ahead and call that Truly Next Gen consoles. Not a day one buyer here
