Because otherwise I could rent a ton of games (or buy lots of games and sell them later), install them, not connect anymore to internet and play those games infinitely.

How? If you have 3 games registered then there wouldnt be a need to check online because the games are already registsred on the system but if you brung a new game home, it would make sense to have to register it online because its new to the system.
I cant believe what im saying.. and cant believe i'm actually discussing a police state gaming system..

2 - Install the 10 games. Disc isn't needed anymore to play them.
3 - Unplug your Xbox One from the internet forever.
4 - Go to Gamestop and sell your ten games to get some $$$ back.
