Exactly. People can only make decisions based on the best information they have available. There's no point in reserving judgement, staying silent and hoping that initial impressions are wrong. Especially if all the given information is subject to change before launch. If people throw a riot now, it gives Microsoft a chance to address those potential customers' concerns.
Judgement isn't set in stone either, and can be re-evaluated as new information comes to light.
