I see Home as a promotion platform for companies. Nike trys to sell there shoes in there virtual stores. FC Barcelona has a store to promote it self. History of the club. Movies of there lateste matches. There might be some advergames in it like toyota yaris. There might be a showroom with the newest models and all the information you want to know about it.
As for the consumer it'll offer communication in a modern way. There won't be any interesting gaming experiance IMO. Maybe something like a huge party poker casino.
