I disagree. If the showcase wasn't enough to demonstrate Microsoft's vision I think we're at a lack of foresight.

What Microsoft envisions isn't necessarily what the customers percept. For example, if customers find the the TV gesture control as unneccesary as many gamers they most definately won't drop 500$ on the console, especially if gaming isn't their main focus. But like I said, since we don't know what that crowd thinks at all atm arguing over it is basically useless^^
