I'm with bonkers ---->

No, seriously, I'm in the same boat, but for different reasons.

I bought a Wii U at launch because I know what kind of games Nintendo will bring to the table and those are the kind of games I want. Also, Nintendos console revisions are always downgrades from the original version.

I will not buy an Xbox, period, because Microsoft does not appeal to me in any way, be it games (Shooters and racing simulations, the two genres I really don't care about at all) or their overall vision for the industry.

I will not buy a PS4 at launch because to me Sony does not have an identity when it comes to games, yet. I can't predict what kind of content will be presented this next generation. The PS2 had a lot of games for all ages that I really liked but somehow the PS3 had almost none of it. It was all gritty and brutal games and the few games that should appeal to me turned almost all out bad or "here's an editor, do it yourself" style. I don't like editors.
I am also concerned about the reliabality of the first version and have heat/power consumption concerns. Sony's revisions are almost always an improvement over the original version and more reliable/cheaper on top, so I'll wait for that.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.
