That's really something. The Wii U is so bad, yet you still plan to settle for just that. The current state of the video game industry isn't pretty.

How the hell is the Wii U bad? Is Nintendo stop producing 1st party games for it? I love Nintendo because it produce the best 1st party games out of the three so I'm confident that the good games will be there.

I mean the console was so unfinished in almost all aspects. It's getting better with more games being released in the second half of the year, OS updates, Virtual Console being added to the eShop etc.

By the time the PS4 and Xbox One launch, the Wii U should look quite good in a real world comparison. But there's no denying that the console had a rocky start.

First year for any console is usually pretty rough. Specifically in regards to software releases.

While plenty of consoles have had strong first years in terms of meeting or beating sales projections, they often did so by riding the wave of consumer enthusiasm thanks to hype, trends and good old fashioned marketing.

I do think the Wii U is going to be more like the GC in terms of market relevancy though (it will still sell more units). Always a great home for some of the best quality 1st party games in the industry, but not the go to platform developers will be flocking to in an effort to sell the most software.
