Christ why do PS3 owners suddenly think they are getting Gears anyway? I mean, how random is that. "Hey Gears won game of the year... Sony is going to compel the the company to make the sequel go on the failing PS3!!" Right...

why do people on this website judge all ps3 owners off of 1 or 2 people...???? as a ps3 owner i dont believe GEARS will be on the ps3... but i do believe bioshock to be a timed exclusive

A lot of PS3 owners think that way, and even you think it's a timed exclusive. I mean, does everything have to be multiplatform nowadays? Why is it impossible for a game to be just on 360 and PC? They work hard on Bioshock, and perhaps it's just too difficult to port it. I'm not trying to generalize PS3 owners though...if someone generalizes PS3 owners, it's probably because those kind of PS3 users generalize "kiddy Wii users" and "360 shooter guys" the same way.

Same way wii and 360 fans think its impossible for a 3rd party game to be PS3 only, aka MGS or FF13.

Even if Kojima has freaking said that multiple times and FF13 being on a PS3 only engine.

You do recognize that Gears of War is a second party title, not third party, don't you? And that this makes a huge difference?

what diffenrce does it make when the contract ends ? ms loses publishind rights when that happens.

Bioshock sure is not 2nd party.

Right. That contract ends years from now, not in 6 months -- like your hypothesized MGS port -- but years. Basically what you're saying is this: "Years from now, any game for the 360 may be on a Sony platform." Which can be said in reverse, as well. Team Ico games may be on Microsoft platforms, years from now. Mario may be on the PS5 if things suddenly go way, way south for Nintendo. All of this is technically true, and from this angle you could argue that no game (even first party titles) is definitively and absolutely an exclusive.

So take your pick. Would you like to argue this position? If so, will you admit that the new Team Ico games and Gran Turismo could quite possibly be on Microsoft platforms at some point in the future? Will you admit they aren't "exclusives?"
