If I have a PC that can Stream shows/sports, Have Steam/Origin/Uplay/whatever DRM, be able to do general stuff such as using the basic Microsoft programs such as Word/PowerPoint/etc for projects relating to school/work, have a decent browser like FireFox/Google Chrome, be able to get access to a wide variety of other programs for other uses (i.e. work related programs such as coding programs for programming, etc), movies, music, etc - why would I buy something that is far limited for $400+ and on the top of that have to pay a subscription fee on top of my internet fee? If Sony does the same thing - I'll look at it the same. Also the difference between Steam and the Xbox One is in the next couple of years providing Valve stays afloat and sure it will - Steam will be b/c with Windows/Mac/Linux while Xbox One games will probably not be b/c with Xbox Two system. |
