Ill get it eventually, but it sure as hell wont be a launch buy.

Its not just the DRM. Its the lack of information regarding anywhere that isnt America.

Yeah it suck that something that ms does in the US you cant get in the UK, forget that nobody else does it in the first place and therefore you cant get it from them either.

broken logic.

I don't think it's broken logic. Those services are meant to add value to the device, right? Well, those services don't exist in the EU, therefore the device has less value to an EU customer than it would to a US customer. A competing device might not offer that service anywhere, but that just means that there's no differentiation on that point to an EU customer.

This reminds me of when  the gold subscription price went up worldwide IIRC. When I used to live in Mexico, the price was around 500(or 600? don't remember) pesos for one year of xbox live gold. The price went up in the US because of all the services being added for them whici IIRC it was one reason for the price to up(which I didn't like that to begin with because those were not gaming features), but the price also went up in Mexico. Xbox live in Mexico didn't(and still doesn't I guess) even have half the features that xbox live US had, but still it went up to 600 pesos(700 if it was 600).

Basically,  xbox live MX gold didn't have ESPN or things like that which the US had and still the price went up.

Sorry for bad English.
