Although point 3 speaks to an even more dedicated fan than point 4 did. "Can't use the controller I want" is a less significant concern than "can't play certain exclusive games".

The 360 controller can be used with PC games. My brother is using it right now to play PES 2013.

Both (PS3 and 360) controllers have been tested to have 2-5 ms of lag at worst by Street Fighter professional players in the Shoryuken forums. If he cared about that then he would be using the wired 360 controller or a third party USB controller.
