Could XboxOne disrupt the market by only targeting non gamers

Are you seriously thinking of COD and Ea sports' games as Core games ?

If you said Skyrim or Battlefield I could understand, but that is just ... Naive.

The core audience is an audience that is loyal, buy a lot of games and like to try new things.

COD and EA sports fans play 4 hours a week (on a year basis, not right after their game came out) and most of the time play one or two different franchise. This is no core players. it's casual. 

Casual is not only mario.

So one military shooter is teh hardcorez but another is casual?
