Well if Sony Japan had promoted things as Buzz ,Singstar and Eye Toy games maybe just maybe the Wii wouldnt be running with all the casual buyers just for it .IF it was more split (even 30% Sony and 70% Nintendo ) that added to the hardcore gamers that buy PS3 in Japan would be enough to compete .
